Student Form:

Form Purpose
The Student form stores data about each
individual student in the school. Additional fields can be added in
customized versions to meet the needs of any individual school.
Features
- Direct link to Primary (and Other
Households): In the form header is a button which, on
clicking, opens the Primary Household form automatically filtered to
show the student's primary household information. In those cases
where the student also has a parent in a different household, another
button is automatically shown and provides a direct link to the
Other Household
form.
- Auto-populated drop-down box:
The "Teacher" field is an example of a drop-down box that automatically
takes data from the
Faculty/Staff
form. In this case it provides an
alphabetized list of all faculty members names and the grades they are
teaching this year, making it a simple matter to pick the student's
teacher.
Drop down boxes are used throughout the database for easy and accurate
data-entry.
Faculty/Staff Form:

Form Purpose
The Faculty/Staff form stores data about all
faculty and staff members. In addition, for faculty member, it shows
all current students in the teacher's class.
Features
- Select View Buttons: Buttons in
the form header allow the user to see only current faculty, only current staff or
view all
records (current and former, faculty and staff).
- Current Students sub-form: For faculty
members, the "Current Students" sub-form is automatically populated with
student names from the
Student forms
which have picked this faculty member as student's current teacher.
