A custom menu-driven Access
database for a private K-8 school in Southern California. It tracks a
large amount of interrelated data for the school including all
students, parents, faculty/staff, fundraising, admissions inquiries
and other data. The database links parents to students, students to
faculty, enrollments to inquires, etc. seamlessly, thus preventing
unnecessary re-entering of data and integrating data from one table
into drop-down choice lists for related data-entry forms. |

tracks all HR data for an architectural firm. Using a two tabbed
data-entry form, personal data for each employee is shown on one tab,
while HR data, including sub-forms for “Review History” and
“Compensation History” is shown on the other tab. In addition,
several customized reports are automatically generated using menu
choices. |

This large-scale contacts
database is organized via a multi-tabbed form which permits easy
access to the various functional parts of the database. Using
multiple related tables, different tabs show business and personal
contact information, contacts’ areas of expertise, programs that they
have worked on for IIE , dinner and donor events they have attended
and committees they have served on. Also included is a telephone
contacts log which tracks each individual interaction with the
contact. |

devices inventory lent out to deaf and disabled clients throughout the
state of California by DDTP, a public non-profit agency. It provides
for automated import of data from Excel spreadsheets from seven
regional centers and 13 individual field administrators and provides a
wide range of user-customizable reports. |

| This
Access database tracks all company travel through three
separate
stages: trip requests, travel expenses and check requests. At
each stage numerous drop-down lists and automatic data carry-over
facilitate quick generation of required paper work while automatically
tracking year-to-date expenditures and remaining budget in each travel
category. Additionally, a number of customized reports are
available with user selectable date ranges. Using Access'
security system and user accounts, users are able to access only their
own travel records and expenses, while administrators have access to
all records. |

MS Access this database tracks location of all fare box components on
buses, inventory of parts for these components, repair and warranty
work, etc. and provides customized reports. |

including merging data to Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.

Access this database allows the San Francisco office of Public
Relations to maintain a list of all regional media contacts
(newspaper, radio, magazine, etc.), create reports sorted by "beat"
(i.e. business reporting, consumer, ethnic media, education, etc.),
and via export of data to WinFax Pro, to merge MS Word press releases
or other communications and automatically fax to contacts in the
database. |
